Publishing a live recording to an on-demand Episode

When it comes to recording your live streaming so that they can be added to your on demand storage, you have two options:

(i) Manual: This feature allows you to manually publish a select portion of the live recording. For example, you may live broadcast the full service, but you only want to keep the message portion. Manually publishing allows you to edit the file before adding it to a new Episode.

(ii) Automatic: You can have the full live recording automatically published to a new Episode.

STEP 1:
Go to the Manage Live Recordings (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveRecordings) page within your account, or select the live recording from the Dashboard.

STEP 2:
Select the desired live recording from the list.

STEP 3:
Play the recording in the preview player. Set the [ Trim Start ] and [ Time End ] times.

STEP 4:
Enter the Episode Settings…

1. Select what media types you want to publish to the new Episode: Audio, Video, or Both.
2. Episode Tile
3. Episode Description
4. Start Showing Date: If this date is set in the future the video will not show in playlists or media centers until this date.
5. Episode tags/keywords
6. Episode Speakers
7. Episode Categories
8. Playlist assignments
9. Podcast assignments
10. Scriptures reference

STEP 5:
Click [ Convert to Episode ]

(ii) AUTOMATIC PUBLISHING OF YOUR LIVE RECORDING

STEP 1:
IMPORTANT: In order to auto publish a live recording to a new Episode, you must have a Live Schedule in place.

STEP 2:
Go to the Live Settings (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSettings) page within your account. (See Step 1: You must have a Live Schedule setup.)

STEP 3:
Scroll down to Auto Create Episodes and Enable this feature.

STEP 4:
Click on [ Save Changes ]
